Monster Cookie Recipe

M&Ms, chocolate chips, and peanut butter…what’s not to love?!

I love all cookies but I must say, monster cookies are one of my favorites. I think the secret to this monster cookie recipe is adding 2 teaspoons of molasses and using Jiff peanut butter. These cookies are so good and it’s almost impossible to not sneak bites of cookie dough while making them.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup M&Ms
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a small bowl – combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl – beat together the unsalted butter, peanut butter, and sugars until the dough is light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla, molasses, and egg until combined.
  4. Slowly add in your small bowl ingredients into the large bowl. Mix until the dough pulls together then add in the M&Ms and chocolate chips until combined.
  5. On a sprayed cookie sheet, scoop 2oz size cookie dough balls and keep them roughly 2 inches apart from each other.
  6. Bake for 15-17 minutes.
