M&Ms, chocolate chips, and peanut butter…what’s not to love?!
I love all cookies but I must say, monster cookies are one of my favorites. I think the secret to this monster cookie recipe is adding 2 teaspoons of molasses and using Jiff peanut butter. These cookies are so good and it’s almost impossible to not sneak bites of cookie dough while making them.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup quick oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 cup M&Ms
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a small bowl – combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl – beat together the unsalted butter, peanut butter, and sugars until the dough is light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla, molasses, and egg until combined.
- Slowly add in your small bowl ingredients into the large bowl. Mix until the dough pulls together then add in the M&Ms and chocolate chips until combined.
- On a sprayed cookie sheet, scoop 2oz size cookie dough balls and keep them roughly 2 inches apart from each other.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes.
