Easy Pumpkin Bread Recipe

Not that I want to rush summer to end but I’m getting excited for fall and the holidays. Fall is right around the corner…this easy pumpkin bread recipe will hopefully fulfill some of your seasonal cravings now and is something you can make again soon!

Try pairing the pumpkin bread with ice cream or coffee. Also, you can cut the bread down the middle to create two loafs.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 15 oz of 100% pumpkin puree
  • 1 container of cream cheese frosting
  • 1 bag of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe:

1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.) Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.

3.) Whisk together the vanilla, eggs, vegetable oil, and pumpkin puree in a medium bowl.

4.) Add your contents in the medium bowl to the large bowl. Whisk together until it’s a smooth mixture.

5.) Pour mixture into a 9×9 pan. Bake for 35 minutes.

6.) Add the frosting once the bread has cooled down then sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Use as much or as little frosting and chocolate chips as you’d like.
