Our bedroom needed a refresh. We needed bedding that was more durable, easy to wash, and less likely to cling pet hair. Below is what we went with and why.
Duvet
We chose a 100% linen duvet and goose feather down comforter for our bedding. Linen is a great fabric if you need something that won’t easily cling pet hair. We’ve put it to the test the past few weeks and have been super happy with it. We have a dog and cat that sleep with us every night and nap on our bed throughout the day. Linen is a more expensive fabric than some other materials but I think it’s worth it. It’s durable, easy to wash, and doesn’t easily cling pet hair.
The down comforter is Mike Hasler approved. Mike is like a damn heater when he sleeps and he’s slept with it on most nights. We bought the lightweight option and will use it all year round. I think this comforter gives you a decent amount of pile height and isn’t overly warm.
Accents
The lumbar pillow is a 16×42″ from Target. Its 100% cotton textile fabric and 100% polyester material. Its super comfy and fits a king size bed well.
The quilt and blanket are from Bed Bath & Beyond. I bought them in store on sale and can’t find them on the website. The quilt is like a rust/muted red and the blanket is ivory. You may be able to find something similar on their website. The tray was a bridal shower gift from my aunt that I wish I had a link for!
Sheets
Love these sheets. They have a classic look to them and come in a variety of colors. They aren’t anything too fancy, but they wash good and are cheap. We have these in a couple colors/designs. I personally prefer light colored sheets on a bed with a lighter comforter.
